Your quotes and account
Kern Industries Edmonton Ltd. uses the contact and project details you provide to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, manage orders and operate your customer account. Customer accounts do not provide access to another customer’s records merely because they share a company name.
Optional browsing analytics
With your permission, our first-party cookies record visits and pages/products viewed on this website. When you sign in, we associate consented browsing with your verified customer account. When you submit a guest quote request, we may associate the current consented visit with the details entered on that request. Guest details are labelled unverified; they are not proof of identity.
Our staff can view these insights in the protected portal to understand product interests and assist with enquiries. We also measure which visits lead to quote requests and non-cancelled customer orders. Old analytics collected under our earlier message is not retroactively linked to customer identities.
We do not sell your personal information or share it with third-party advertisers.
The optional analytics records do not contain IP addresses, precise coordinates, device fingerprints, external browsing history or unfinished form entries. After you allow analytics, we briefly use the network IP address to estimate a city using a database stored on our server. Only the city name is saved with the visit; the IP address and coordinates are not saved in analytics or sent to a geolocation provider. City estimates may be wrong, especially with VPNs or mobile networks. When a lookup is unavailable, no city is saved. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
Your choice
Optional analytics is off until you accept. Declining does not prevent browsing, requesting a quote or using your account. Open Cookie Settings on any page to change your choice. We honour browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for optional analytics.
Declining after accepting stops measurement and removes analytics visits associated with the current browser’s consent cookie. It does not delete quotations, orders or your account. Clearing cookies may prevent us from finding past browser-only records; contact us for help with a privacy request. Your choice is remembered on this browser for up to one year.
Retention and service providers
Browsing records are retained for up to 400 days and removed during analytics maintenance. Identified reports exclude records older than that period. Necessary account, quote and order records are managed separately.
Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the website and deliver requested communications. Server access logs, security controls and authentication may process network addresses separately from optional analytics. We do not claim that no IP address is processed or logged anywhere in our hosting services. Essential login, security and quote-request functions remain available regardless of your analytics choice.
